Updates for Wenlin Software for Learning Chinese

For users of version 3.0 or later, a free update to 3.4.1 is available, and strongly recommended, since there are quite a few improvements. The only differences between 3.4 and 3.4.1 are two important bug fixes: (1) using the brush tool (for handwriting recognition) caused a memory leak; (2) files saved in the GB format had wrong codes for some non-Chinese characters. The update to Version 3.4.1 is only available to currently licensed users of 3.0 or later. It won't work unless you have already installed 3.0 (or later) on your hard drive.

Users of versions prior to 3.0 can upgrade to 3.x for a fraction of the full price -- please see the upgrade page. (We make a distinction between free updates and inexpensive upgrades.)
